Deken Park offers a wide variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Whether you want to enjoy a peaceful walk along the paved trail or spend time playing sports, it is a great place to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. You will often see people playing baseball or softball, as well as joggers, walkers, and children stopping by to play. The park also hosts baseball and softball games that bring multiple schools together on the fields throughout the season. In addition, the park partners with the St. Elmo School District, so throughout the day you may see students using the park for sports, running, and other activities. Park Amenities: Paved walking trail, Sand volleyball courts, playground equipment, baseball diamonds, a basketball court, and horseshoe pits.
